AI Humanizer for Students
Edit an essay draft for clarity and flow without losing your terminology, numbers or citations. Academic mode is the most conservative setting in the engine.
Rewriting Mode
Academic: Formal and structured. This mode does not simplify phrases or replace stock phrases, or convert passive voice to active.
Check Your School's Policy First
Rules on AI-assisted writing differ between schools and even between courses. Use this tool to edit your own writing, and follow your instructor's policy. It does not replace doing the work, and it cannot guarantee how any detector will score a text.
Why Academic Mode Is Different
Academic mode turns off phrase simplification, passive-to-active conversion and nominalisation reduction, because passive voice and precise noun phrases are normal in academic prose.
Sentences can run up to 45 words and every rewrite must clear a 0.88 similarity floor, the strictest of the seven modes.
What It Protects
Numbers, dates, quotations, links, acronyms and citations are protected spans. If a rule would change one, the edit is rolled back and your original sentence is kept.
Common Use Cases
- Smoothing a literature-review paragraph that reads choppily
- Spotting repeated sentence openings in a long essay
- Checking an essay's readability before submitting
- Editing your own draft after a tutor said it feels repetitive
- Non-native writers polishing flow without changing meaning
